Botica is natural fragrance conceived and created in one tiny bedroom of one tiny house by the train tracks in Portland, Oregon. As a self-taught perfumer, I use scent to create feeling (and vice versa, in fact). After having read several fascinating books on the art and history of natural perfumery, I decided to try to mix my own olfactory magic. Botica scents are made using all-natural essential oils, concretes, absolutes and resins. These materials are mixed into a base of pure, nourishing apricot kernel oil. Beeswax and raw coconut oil are added for solid perfumes. Inspired by experiences had and experiences wished for, by times long past and times that have yet to come, by wanderlust and by travel, by nature and by the city, by nature in the city. Botica will take you somewhere you are not, or help you appreciate where you are.
